    Very cool idea. I do electronica/piano work that has wide dynamics and often needs compression. Since compression can also lose some of the emotional impact of music, it’s one of those things that I work with lightly.

    Though you mention it in terms of specific passages like drum and voice, I’ll try it out with longer stretches of sound like an ambient work and see how that goes.
